Art/Craft: Helmar Silicon Oil is a dispersing agent and can be used to create a variety of effects including cells in resin or acrylic artworks. Silicon oil can be dropped directly onto the resin or mixed with resin before applying. PLEASE NOTE: Silicon Oil may cause marking in the resin if applied from a great height. If using a resin/silicon oil mix, allow the base resin layer to sit for approximately 10 minutes before applying. We suggest experimenting with a sample piece prior to creating a final artwork.
